TINUBUNOMICS: Fuel Queues Gone, Salary Arrears Cleared, ASUU Strikes Ended  APC National Vice Chairman Hails Tinubu’s Reforms …Says Renewed Hope Agenda is Restoring Stability, Confidence and Economic Growth

The National Vice Chairman (South-East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, MBBS, PhD, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the transformative impact of the administration’s economic reforms, stating that the era of perennial fuel queues, widespread salary arrears, and prolonged Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strikes has largely become a thing of the past.

Speaking on the achievements of the Tinubu administration, Dr. Arodiogbu said the President’s economic blueprint, popularly referred to as “Tinubunomics,” is restoring confidence in governance, stabilising key sectors of the economy, and laying the foundation for sustainable national development.

According to him, one of the most visible achievements of the administration is the disappearance of the long fuel queues that previously crippled economic activities across the country.

He noted that the deregulation of the petroleum sector and reforms in the downstream oil industry have significantly improved the availability of petroleum products nationwide.

Dr. Arodiogbu further stated that another major milestone of the Tinubu administration is the improved fiscal discipline that has enabled many states and public institutions to meet their salary obligations more consistently.

He added that workers across the country are witnessing greater financial stability as governments are better positioned to meet payroll commitments.

The APC National Vice Chairman also applauded the relative industrial peace currently being enjoyed in Nigeria’s public universities, observing that students are now able to complete academic sessions without the prolonged disruptions that had characterised previous years.

According to him, the administration’s commitment to dialogue, improved funding, and education sector reforms has contributed to greater stability within tertiary institutions.

“Tinubunomics is producing measurable results. Nigerians no longer spend endless hours in fuel queues, salary arrears are gradually becoming history in many parts of the country, and our universities are enjoying a level of stability that allows students to pursue their education without the recurring uncertainty of prolonged ASUU strikes,” Dr. Arodiogbu said.

He maintained that while the administration inherited deep-rooted structural economic challenges, President Tinubu has demonstrated courage by implementing reforms aimed at correcting long-standing distortions and placing the nation on a path of sustainable growth.

Dr. Arodiogbu noted that beyond these gains, the administration has also expanded investments in infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, education, digital innovation, and social intervention programmes designed to improve the quality of life of ordinary Nigerians.

He urged Nigerians to continue supporting the President, stressing that the full benefits of the ongoing reforms would become even more evident as implementation progresses.

“The difficult but necessary decisions taken by President Tinubu are already yielding positive outcomes. Nigeria is moving from a consumption-driven economy to a productive and competitive one. With continued public support and patience, our nation will emerge stronger, more resilient, and more prosperous,” he added.

The APC National Vice Chairman reaffirmed the party’s confidence in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a comprehensive framework for economic recovery, institutional reforms, job creation, and inclusive national development.
