APC CALABAR CAMPAIGN: WE HAVE CROSSED THE RED SEA, HEADING TO THE PROMISED LAND — HON. PRINCESS GLORIA AKOBUNDU Secretary, Faith-Based Mobilisation (Christian), APC Presidential Campaign Council

Hon. Princess Gloria Akobundu, PhD, fsi, Secretary of Faith-Based Mobilisation (Christian) of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC) has thrown her weight behind the Statement made by the Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima that Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has successfully crossed the toughest phase of its economic reset and is now firmly on the path to the promised land of growth and shared prosperity.

Princess Akobundu while reacting to the massive APC presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, convened to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the re-election of Cross River State Governor, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and the victory of other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Princess Akobundu Stated that the most difficult and painful stages of the aggressive economic reforms undertaken by the Tinubu administration are officially over.

She said the hard decisions taken in the early years of the administration have cleared the runway for an era of pure harvest, nationwide growth, and tangible prosperity for ordinary Nigerians.

“We have crossed the Red Sea and are heading to the Promised Land,” she declared to thunderous applause. “The toughest phases of Nigeria’s aggressive economic reset, courageously undertaken by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, are behind us. The foundation has been laid. What lies ahead is the season of harvest, a season in which the sacrifices of the Nigerian people will begin to yield visible and lasting fruits.”

The APC PCC Faith-Based Mobilisation Secretary described the administration’s reforms as painful but necessary, stressing that they were designed to correct long-standing structural distortions, stabilise the economy, and create a durable platform for inclusive growth.

She expressed strong confidence that the next phase of governance will deliver measurable improvements in the lives of citizens across the country, including in Cross River State.

Princess Akobundu particularly appealed to the Christian community, faith-based organisations and Ndigbo in Cross River and the wider South-South to stand firmly with the APC. She emphasised that the party’s vision aligns with the values of hard work, integrity, national unity, and hope for a better Nigeria.

She urged pastors, church leaders, and the Christian faithful to continue praying for the nation while actively mobilising their members to support President Tinubu’s re-election and the entire APC ticket in 2027.

She called on the people of Cross River to remain united behind Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu and to ensure that the progressive vision of the APC continues uninterrupted.

According to her, continuity is essential if the gains of the reforms are to be consolidated and expanded for the benefit of all Nigerians.

The Calabar rally formed part of the APC’s ongoing nationwide mobilisation for the 2027 elections, with party leaders reinforcing the message of progress, resilience, and hope under the Tinubu administration.
