APC PCC Faith-Based Directorate to Launch Online Portal for Christian Groups Mobilisation— Hon. Princess Gloria Akobundu

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC) Faith-Based Mobilisation (Christians) is set to launch a dedicated online portal aimed at strengthening the coordination and mobilisation of Christian groups across Nigeria in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

This was disclosed by Hon. Princess Gloria Akobundu, PhD, fsi Secretary of the APC PCC Faith-Based Mobilisation (Christians) and a key member of the APC PCC Women Mobilisation Wing.

According to Hon. Akobundu, the portal will serve as a central digital platform for Christian associations, church networks, women fellowships, youth groups, and faith-based organisations to register, connect, receive updates, and participate in structured prayer and voter mobilisation programmes.

“The online portal is a strategic tool designed to enhance the reach, coordination, and effectiveness of our faith-based mobilisation efforts,” she stated.

“It will enable Christian groups across the six geopolitical zones to engage seamlessly with the Faith Directorate, access mobilisation materials, report grassroots activities, and remain actively involved in the collective push for continuity and national progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

She explained that the portal will facilitate the registration of Christian groups, the dissemination of prayer guides and voter education content, the coordination of interdenominational activities, and real-time communication between the national Faith Directorate and zonal as well as state structures.

Hon. Akobundu emphasised that the initiative is part of a broader commitment to modern, inclusive, and well-organised mobilisation that respects the moral authority of the Church while encouraging responsible civic participation.

“We are not seeking to politicise the pulpit,” she reiterated. “Rather, we are creating platforms that allow the Christian community to intercede for the nation and support peaceful democratic engagement. The portal will help us organise more effectively, amplify the voices of faith-based stakeholders, and ensure that every willing Christian group can contribute meaningfully to the 2027 project.”

She called on church leaders, pastors, Christian associations, women and youth fellowships, and other faith-based organisations to prepare to register on the portal once it is formally unveiled. According to her, the platform will promote unity, transparency, and accountability in the mobilisation process.

Hon. Akobundu noted that the Faith Directorate remains focused on combining spiritual intercession with practical action, including voter registration drives, PVC collection campaigns, and peaceful participation on election day.

Stakeholders within the APC and the faith community have described the planned online portal as a timely and innovative step that will significantly boost the capacity of the Faith Directorate to mobilise Christian support nationwide.
