HAPPENING NOW!!!
His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, president of the Federal Repulblic of Nigeria and Chairman of the 2027 All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Council, has appointed Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu the Co-Zonal Coordinator of the Apc Presidential Campaign Council for the South-East.
Dr. Arodiogbu, the incumbent National Vice Chairman (South-East) of the APC, will play a key role alongside His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma (Secretary) of Apc Presidential Campaign Council and Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State and Zonal Cordinator of the Presidential Campaign in coordinating the party’s presidential campaign activities across the five South-East states Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.
The appointment which comes ahead of the inauguration of the APC PCC on Wednesday 14th October 2026 at State House Abuja and the official campaign flag off slated for Kaduna State on 24th October 2026 underscores the APC’s push to strengthen its structures and mobilization efforts in the South-East ahead of the next general elections.
As National Vice Chairman of the zone, Dr. Arodiogbu has been actively involved in party organization, consensus-building, and grassroots engagement. He has also been a consistent voice advocating for greater federal presence and infrastructure development in the region.
Party stakeholders in the South-East have previously highlighted his capacity for mobilization and his deep understanding of the political dynamics of the zone.
His elevation to the co-zonal coordinator role on the Presidential Campaign Council is seen as recognition of that experience and as a move to further consolidate APC’s growing influence in the South-East.
The Presidential Campaign Council is tasked with driving the party’s national campaign strategy, with zonal coordinators responsible for translating that strategy into effective grassroots action in their respective regions.
