The All Progressives Congress (APC) Southeast has successfully concluded its National Assembly Primary Elections conducted across the five states of the Southeast geopolitical zone in preparation for the 2027 General Elections.
According to reports submitted by the APC Electoral Committee and Election Monitoring Teams appointed by the National Working Committee (NWC), the primary elections held between Saturday, May 16, 2026, and Monday, May 18, 2026, were conducted in accordance with the party’s constitution, electoral guidelines, and the principles of internal democracy.
The exercises witnessed active participation by party stakeholders, delegates, and aspirants across the region, culminating in the emergence of candidates who will proudly fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming National Assembly elections.
The APC Southeast commends all aspirants, party leaders, delegates, electoral officials, and supporters for their commitment, maturity, and dedication throughout the primary process. The peaceful conduct of the exercises reflects the growing strength, unity, and democratic culture of the party across the Southeast.
