Download Bank of Agriculture App and Access FG Benefits – Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu to Igbo Farmers

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman (South-East), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has called on Igbo farmers, agripreneurs, and rural entrepreneurs across the South-East and beyond to immediately download the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) Mobile Banking App in order to unlock a wide range of Federal Government agricultural benefits, credit facilities, and modern financial services designed to transform farming and agribusiness in Nigeria.

In a strong message directed particularly at farmers in the South-East geopolitical zone, Dr. Arodiogbu described the BOA Mobile Banking App as a strategic tool that brings the Federal Government’s agricultural intervention programmes directly into the hands of ordinary citizens.

He emphasised that banking should no longer interrupt daily life but should seamlessly support the productive activities of farmers, traders, and small-scale entrepreneurs.

“Banking shouldn’t interrupt daily life; it should seamlessly support it,” Dr. Arodiogbu stated, echoing the core philosophy behind the Bank of Agriculture’s digital transformation.

“Through the BOA Mobile Banking App, the Bank of Agriculture is bringing modern, reliable financial services directly into the hands of every citizen. Our farmers in the South-East must take full advantage of this opportunity to access FG benefits, manage their finances efficiently, and grow their agricultural enterprises.”

According to the APC South-East leader, the mobile platform is fully accessible to all Nigerians and provides complete control for users to perform daily transactions, manage accounts, transfer funds, check balances, and sustain both agricultural and commercial activities nationwide all from the convenience of a mobile device.

He noted that this digital innovation is particularly important for farmers who often operate in rural communities where traditional banking services may be limited or time-consuming.

Dr. Arodiogbu further highlighted the complementary BOA debit card, which offers full interoperability across all Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and web payment gateways nationwide.

He explained that the debit card ensures uninterrupted commerce for farmers and agribusiness operators who need to buy inputs, sell produce, pay workers, or settle other financial obligations without stress.

Citizens, including farmers and entrepreneurs, can obtain their BOA debit card through two convenient pathways:

  • Order directly via the BOA Mobile Banking App, or
  • Collect in person at the nearest Bank of Agriculture branch or certified agent location.

The APC National Vice Chairman urged Igbo farmers not to lag behind in embracing this digital financial inclusion drive. He stressed that the Federal Government, through the Bank of Agriculture, has put in place various intervention schemes, input support programmes, credit windows, and value-chain financing opportunities that are more easily accessed by those who are digitally onboarded on the BOA platform.

“Our people in the South-East are hardworking, innovative, and resilient. From the yam and cassava farms of Enugu and Ebonyi to the rice fields, poultry farms, and oil palm plantations across the zone, our farmers deserve every support available,” Dr. Arodiogbu said.

“Downloading the BOA Mobile Banking App is a simple but powerful step towards accessing these Federal Government benefits. It is time for our farmers to move from the margins into the mainstream of modern agricultural financing.”

He invited farmers, entrepreneurs, and families across the nation and especially those in the South-East to download the BOA Mobile Banking App today and experience secure, convenient banking on their own terms.

Dr. Arodiogbu described the initiative as part of the broader Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government aimed at boosting food security, empowering rural communities, and driving inclusive economic growth through agriculture.

Dr. Arodiogbu concluded by reiterating his commitment to ensuring that the people of the South-East, particularly farmers and agripreneurs, are not left behind in the ongoing digital and agricultural transformation of Nigeria.

He called on community leaders, cooperative societies, traditional rulers, and youth groups in the zone to help mobilise farmers to embrace the BOA Mobile Banking App without delay.

With this call, the APC National Vice Chairman (South-East) has once again positioned himself as a strong advocate for the economic empowerment of the Igbo people through practical access to Federal Government programmes and modern financial tools.
